Benucci art galleries

“Every great work of art has two faces, one for its own time and one for the future, for eternity”

Our story

Ida Benucci opened her first art gallery in 1980 in via Giulia, in the heart of Rome, historically home to the Antiquari of Rome.

From the very beginning, the Gallery has brought a new canon and a new style in exhibiting and proposing art.

A different approach based on an unusual and fascinating mix of past masterpieces and works of ancient, modern and contemporary art.

In 2005 the Gallery found its current location, in another flat place of charm and history, expertly restored after a long abandonment: the old studio of Erulo Eroli, an Italian painter, in Via del Babuino.

In almost 40 years of love and devotion to art, the gallery has participated in the most prestigious international art exhibitions, such as the Milan and Turin Biennale, Palazzo Strozzi and Palazzo Corsini in Florence and Palazzo Venezia in Rome.

Visiting the gallery is a seductive experience, a journey.
